For more information, please see this article in our Knowledge Base: Is it true AdBlock will stop working when I upgrade to Safari 12?
Yes. Sometime in 2019 we will stop supporting the legacy extension except in very specific cases. We strongly recommend you migrate to our new Mac app. That is where we will be investing all our time and effort in making AdBlock for Safari the best ad blocker on Apple devices.
Great! The new AdBlock for Safari app offers a seamless ad blocking experience. Here’s all you need to do to get started:
Install AdBlock for Safari from the Mac App Store.
Disable the old AdBlock extension to avoid confusion and the negative impact on performance that can result from using multiple ad blockers.
That's it! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. We are always just an email away at [email protected]
